Товарищи, я правильно понимаю, что нерутовый процесс не может менять свою эффективную группу. В том числе и на ту в которую пользователь включен?

Процесс не может явно изменить ни одного из своих четырех идентификаторов, но есть ситуации когда происходит косвенная установка новых эффективных идентификаторов процесса(SUID и SGID).
